Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines Group obtained a credit line of 18.3 billion yuan (US$2.2 billion) from China Construction Bank yesterday to fund its financial and daily operations including plane purchase and debt management.
The bank will also provide advice on the airliner's restructuring, financing and investing process. Altogether, China Eastern has got nearly 60 billion yuan of credit line from five domestic banks this year.
