China's Central Meteorological Station on Wednesday released weather forecast for the next 10 days, an important period in the country due to the convening of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Cold fronts will remain active in the next 10 days, and snowfall, together with strong winds, are expected in northern part of north China and northeastern China.
There is no or little evidence of rainfall in the forecast for eastern parts of southwest China, south of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River or for south China up until November 12.
In Beijing municipality, temperatures are likely to remain at around 12 degrees Celsius for the next five days. The Chinese capital will have mostly sunny days or cloudy skies, with no rain or snowfall in the forecast, and with winds varying between mild and moderate.
