A cold front from China's northern areas will bring another cold weekend to the city as lows may drop to 10 degrees Celsius on Friday, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau has warned.
The cold front is forecasted to arrive in Shanghai by tomorrow while drizzle is expected to visit the city today and tomorrow, the Youth Daily reports citing the bureau.
Today's lows should be 13 degree Celsius with a high of 18 degrees.
Temperatures slid to 13.1 degree Celsius yesterday in Xujiahui area while the lows on Chongming Island plunged to only 11.4 degrees, the report said.
The average temperature for previous Octobers in Shanghai was 18.8 degrees, a little bit lower than the average for this October, which was between 19 degrees and 20 degrees.
