A military-themed restaurant opened for business Thursday in Zhengzhou, in central China's Henan province.
The restaurant's specialty lies not in its food, but in its decorations and furniture. Bullet marks pasted on windows and columns make the restaurant look like a relic of a battlefield; ammunition boxes have been made into desks and chairs; the bar is more like a lookout post; all the VIP rooms on the second floor are named for a famous battle or military base.
Additionally, all staff wear black T-shirts, camouflage pants and black army boots.
The owner of the restaurant, who is surprisingly a military buff, invested 300,000 yuan, or about US$40, 000, in the business.
