The 2007 China Tourism Quality Products Expo started on Thursday in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan province, attracting over 500 tourism business groups from home and abroad.
As part of the ongoing 2007 Hunan Tourism Festival, the expo mainly promotes some 66 "5A" tourist destinations around China, including Mt. Hengshan and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Hunan province.
Also on display are hotel utensils and souvenirs, including Chinese porcelain and embroidery.
The expo also promotes some other characteristic scenic spots in Hunan, including the Hongjiang ancient commercial town, southeast of city Huaihua in western Hunan.
Oversea tourism purchasers and service providers from over ten countries and regions, such as France, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong, came to the expo, some bringing their own products as well.
With many promotional activities, the expo is also good chance to ordinary tourists.
