Adjust font size:

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) will carry out safety inspections in China in March.

This will be the third safety inspection following inspections in 1999 and 2001. This year's inspections will cover 16 topics, including organizational and institutional issues, human resources, financial guarantees, legislation, flight standards, airport management and air traffic control, according to sources with the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC).

ICAO experts will also visit China's east and northern areas to make a thorough inspection. China is a member nation of the ICAO, which strives to promote global aviation safety and growth.
