Beijing Airport's Breakdown System Resumes

An official with the Beijing Capital Airport said on Tuesday that all the 33 flights that were postponed due to a failure in the airport's take-off computer system have departed.

According to the official, who asked not to be named, said the airport's take-off computer system broke down at 13:28 p.m. on Tuesday, leading to the postponement of 33 flights within 40 minutes. The system was restored at 14:18 p.m. said the official, adding that the incident is still under investigation.

He didn't say how many passengers were affected by the incident and what flights were affected.
