Hong Kong Express Airways has been given approval to operate additional scheduled services to five more cities in China - Chengdu, Nanning, Wuhan, Jinan and Yantai.
CEO, Mr Andrew Tse, said: "These new destinations certainly contribute towards our goal in terms of expansion into the mainland market, which will ultimately see us operate on routes into top tier cities such as Beijing and Shanghai in the not-too-distant future." The approval brings to 11 the mainland cities it can connect to.
Meanwhile, Oasis Hong Kong Airlines has appointed PAM (Oasis) Limited to establish, operate and maintain its Hong Kong-based call centre services. The first longhaul budget carrier will start taking reservations and enquiries on its hotline from September 4.
