Northwest China: August 11 to 14, eastern sections and northern and western Xinjiang will be cloudy with showers or thundershowers, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms as well as strong winds in some places. August 15 to 18, northern Xinjiang and western Gansu will be overcast with showers, while eastern sections of the region will be hot and sultry. August 19 to 20, eastern sections will see cloudy skies with possible showers.
North China: August 11 to 14, most of the region will be overcast to cloudy with possible showers or thundershowers, while some areas will meet moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by short-time strong convective weather. August 15 to 17, most sections will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures. August 18 to 20, the region will be cloudy to overcast with showers or thundershowers.
Northeast China: August 11 to 16, most of the region will see frequent showers or thundershowers while some of easternmost and southern sections will receive moderate to heavy rainfall with torrential storms and even strong winds in some places. August 17 to 18, most sections will be cloudy to sunny with light showers in some areas. August 19 to 20, most of the region will continue to have precipitation.
Central China: August 11 to 13, most of the region will be cloudy to sunny with showers or thundershowers in central and northern parts. August 14 to 16, most parts will see cloudy skies with showers or thundershowers. August 17 to 20, the region will be sunny to cloudy with hot weather. During the first half of the week, most of the region will have a moist and sultry weather.
East China: August 11, some of Zhejiang, Fujian, southern Jiangsu, eastern Jiangxi and southern Anhui will receive heavy to stormy rain. August 13 to 14, areas north of the Huaihe River will meet showers or thundershowers with moderate to heavy rainfall in some areas. August 15 to 17, most areas will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures. August 18 to 20, the coastal regions in southern parts will have showers.
South China: August 11 to 12, southernmost parts will have showers or light to moderate rainfall with heavy or stormy rainfall in some areas. August 13 to 16, most of the region will be cloudy to sunny with hot weather. Some places will meet occasional showers or thundershowers and some of southernmost parts will experience heavy rainfall or storms. August 17 to 20, most parts of the region will be cloudy with showers in some places.
Southwest China: During the week, southern Tibet and most of Yunnan and Guizhou provinces will have more showers or thundershowers. August 11 to 14, some of southern and western Yunnan will see moderate to heavy rainfall with storms in some places. The Sichuan Basin and Chongqing will still have little precipitation but high temperatures during the week.
