Shenzen Airlines will launch their first red-eye service from Beijing airport on August 11th, offering new overnight flights to Wuxi for only 430 yuan, or 60 percent off the normal price.
Customers who don't object to the late hours will appreciate the low prices, as they would only have been able to secure a maximum 20 percent discount off flights to Wuxi in the past.
Beijing Daily Messenger reports the new flight, SA ZH9570, will help ease airport traffic during the peak travel season. The plane will depart Beijing at 10pm and land in Wu Xi at 1:50am, a total flight time of just 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The new flights will run every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flights are currently planned to finish on October 27th.
