Students Prefer Traveling After University Entrance Exam

High school students preferred to travel around after the university entrance exam, which gave more vitality for the low season tourism industry in June.

After the exam and before the result was released, students hoped to reduce pressure when preparing for the exam and they chose the way to travel. According to the online tourism website Mango, more customers came to consult the routes in late June and early July. Many families chose Beidaihe, Dalian, Chengde and even Hong Kong.

For most travel agencies, after Labor Day vacation and before summer vacation, the month of June used to have few tourists. Nowadays some families changed their minds.

"The travel trend occurred after the university exam, because many urban families can afford travel fees and there are more chances of studying in university for students. We choose to visit Disneyland in Hong Kong rather than anxiously waiting for results back at home," said a mother who planned to take her son to Dalian for a holiday.
