Bronze Heads, Calligraphy on Display

Bronze tiger, pig, ox and monkey heads that originally guarded a building in Yuanmingyuan (Old Summer Palace) will appear in Huizhou, Guangdong, soon.

Huizhou will hold an ecotourism festival between April 30 and May 7. A series of events will be launched during the festival.

The events include the display of the bronze heads and a calligraphy exhibition showcasing masterpieces from the Imperial Palace.

Many of the tourism destinations in Huizhou will have specific events at that time, including a food festival, a Taoist culture festival, and a Hakka culture festival.

The first ecotourism event successfully concluded at the same time last year, and the Bureau of Tourism of Huizhou decided to continue the festival this year.
