Weekly Weather Forecast (Jan 30 to February 5)

Northwest China: January 30 to 31, affected by streams of cold air, some eastern sections will be overcast with light snow, accompanied by force 4 to 6 northerly winds and lower temperatures. February 1 to 3, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with rising temperatures. February 4 to 5, western and northern Xinjiang will meet light to moderate snowfall while eastern sections of the region will be sunny to cloudy.

 

North China: January 30 to 31, affected by streams of cold air, most of the region will be overcast with light to moderate snow or snow showers, accompanied by force 4 to 6 northerly winds and lower temperatures. February 1 to 3, most of the region will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies with lower temperatures. February 4 to 5, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with warmer temperatures, while the plain areas will see morning fogs.

 

Northeast China: Affected by streams of cold air, January 31 to February 2, most of the region will experience light to moderate snowfall with heavy to stormy snow expected in eastern Jilin Province and central and eastern Heilongjiang Province. Force 4 to 6 northerly winds will blow throughout most of the region and bring in colder weather. February 3 to 4, most parts will be under sunny to cloudy skies with lower temperatures. But the temperatures will rise slightly on February 5.

 

Central China: January 30, most of the region will see cloudy skies with possible fogs. January 31 to February 2, affected by streams of cold air, most of the region will have light to moderate snow or rain with force 4 northerly winds and lower temperatures. February 3 to 4, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with lower temperatures. February 5, the region will continue to be sunny to cloudy with possible fogs in some places.

 

East China: January 30, most of the region will be cloudy with fogs. January 31 to February 2, affected by stronger streams of cold air, most parts will receive light to moderate snow or rain with force 4 to 6 northerly winds and colder weather expected in northern and easternmost parts. February 3 to 4, most parts will be dominated by sunny skies with low temperatures. February 5, the temperatures will rise.

 

South China: January 30, western sections will be overcast with light rainfall. January 31 to February 2, most sections will be overcast with light rainfall. February 3 to 4, the region will see cloudy to sunny skies with force 3 to 4 northerly winds and lower temperatures. February 5, the region will be mainly cloudy.

 

Southwest China: January 30 to February 2, some of eastern parts will be overcast with light rainfall or sleet, while some of western Guizhou Province will see ice rainfall. February 3 to 5, most of Tibet will have light to moderate snow from west to east while the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau will be overcast with light rainfall or sleet. The eastern parts of Sichuan Basin will have fogs.
