A court has awarded Zhang Liang 13,000 yuan (US$1,605) in compensation after he was bitten by a shark while scuba diving in an aquarium at Shanghai's Changfeng Park.
Zhang's lawyer says he might appeal the decision, however, as the Shanghai Putuo District People's Court didn't order the aquarium to offer him a public apology. Zhang went to dive at the aquarium in July.
At the end of the 15-minute-long dive Zhang was swimming back to the surface, when a shark suddenly bit him on the head and right ear.
