Low Costs Offered for Winter Tours

A large scale tourist promotion campaign kicked off in Guangzhou on Monday that aimed to lure more people to travel at off-peak season with substantial low prices.

Staring from November 1, 30 percent of domestic tours will cost below 1,000 yuan and half will be less than 1,500 yuan.

The campaign would last for three months and the total number of routes increased from 100 last year to 150 this time, which offered more options to Guangzhou citizens. Individual tours to Qinghai and Ningxia were promoted for the first time and most scenic spots in the country and four or five-star hotels participated in the campaign. With only 50 yuan, group members can stay in a four-star hotel.

In order to guarantee service quality, the Nanhu West Holiday Travel Agency issued a white paper on tourist quality, the first of its kind in the country. The white paper listed all the detailed tour prices even at a time when tourists sign up. It also promised large sum of compensation in case tourists were taken in.
