A number of travel agencies in Beijing received on weekend a phamphlet, issued by China's National Tourism Administration (CNTA), with a list of reference prices for outbound travels. Travelers planning to go abroad on the National Day holidays can use these reference prices for information about outbound travels.
The phamphlet includes the reference prices for eleven outbound destinations, most of which are in Southeast Asia or Europe.
As different from those prices issued by various other administrative bodies that normally set limit for the highest prices, the reference publicized by CNTA intends to remind visitors about the possible trap hidden in low offered prices.
The price reference was made by CNTA along with thirteen other travel agencies in Beijing that handle outbound tours.
The prices include hotel accommodations, meals, tips and the lowest daily consuming price for each traveler.
