China's Largest International Yacht Show

It was learned from related press conference convened on Aug. 30th that in September this year, "2005 International Yacht Promotion Show in Qiandao Lake, Hangzhou, China" will be held in Zhejiang's Qiandao Lake which is always dubbed as the "most beautiful lake in China."

This is the largest international yacht promotion show in the mainland by now.

The promotion show, which is about to take place from Sept. 24th to 26th, is not only one of the important events of the 2005 China Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Water Show, but also a key event of the 2005 West Lake Expo and a linkage event of the 2006 West Lake Expo and the World Leisure Expo 2006.

Ling Zhifeng, deputy director of the organizing committee of the yacht promotion show, said that this show has aroused deep interest from many domestic and foreign yacht manufacturers since its preparation commenced in June this year.

At present, 42 yachts from eight countries including China, Australia, the United States, Germany, Japan, Canada, the UK and Norway have registered to participate in this show.

Yachts from foreign countries account for 28 while the rest 14 are from domestic manufacturers. Plus those existing yachts on Qiandao Lake, the number of participating yachts will amount to nearly 100 when the show begins.
