The first Brazil-China non-stop flight from Beijing to San Paulo by way of Munich will take off this July, reported yesterday's Oriental Morning Post.
The news was released at the opening ceremony for the Shanghai Representative Center of the Brazil-China Chamber of Industry and Commerce Monday afternoon.
Huang Haicheng, Chamber chairperson, explained that the non-stop flight is targeted at Brazilians who intend to visit Beijing and Shanghai for the Olympics 2008 and the World Expo 2010.
At the same time, tour packages covering three to eight Brazilian cities in five to 14 days are being promoted during the ceremony. The tour, including air fare, costs 11,000 to 12,000 yuan (US$1,451), with local reception fees at around US$100 to 120.
