China's First High-speed Maglev Train

The Dalian Cigu (magnetism valley) Sci-tech Research Institute Co., Ltd. introduced its latest achievement: the "Zhonghua 06" magnetically levitated train (maglev train).

The Zhonghua 06 has undergone a successful one-time trial operation.

The maglev train can reach 400 km per hour with a magnetic levitation force of 2.8 tons per meter.

The train can carry 80,000 passengers and 48,000 tons of goods per hour.

It is specially designed as a means of transportation for urban economic areas in large and medium cities.

The Zhonghua 06 test maglev train is 9.6 meters in length, 1.65 meters in width and 1.87 meters in height, with a carrying capacity of ten passengers.

The entire journey extends 70 meters, including a 10-meter-long station.

The train is independently developed and made in China.

By using a maglev guideway, materials are conserved, the weight of the track and train are reduced and the train's center of gravity is lowered, aiding high-speed operation.

The rail costs 80 million yuan (US.7 million) per kilometer.

The maglev train is set in the hung-up rail. As the train adopts the "4-2-1" control method and is specially designed with "online control and decision" technology, bumping and collision are basically avoided.

Moreover, explosion-proof devices in cabins and luggage areas guarantee the safety of the guideway and passengers. The excellent security design of doors, windows, fireproofing and emergency exits will also ensure the safety of passengers.
