A total of 1.03 million people departed Hong Kong through air, land and sea immigration points on Friday, the first day of Easter holidays, according to Hong Kong government. Among them 50 percent departed via Lo Wu, 18.5 percent via Lok Ma Chau and 14.2 percent via the airport. So far 581,904 people have arrived in Hong Kong since March 23.Among them, 46.2 percent entered via Lo Wu and 24.8 percent via Lok Ma Chau. Air passengers accounted for 15.2 percent of the total. The Immigration Department estimates that 2.21 million people would leave via Lo Wu between March 23 and 29 - a daily average of 315,000. From March 23 to April 5, some 107 additional scheduled and ad-hoc charter flights, a total of 214 movements, will be run by 15 airlines to 10 destinations on the Chinese mainland, 10 in Northeast Asia and eight in Southeast Asia.
