Some travel agencies in south China's Guangzhou City are promoting specially priced package tours to neighboring Hong Kong.

The cost for the two-day tour is only 318 yuan (about US$38), nearly half of the usual Hong Kong tour price.

It also includes accommodation at a four-star hotel.

April in Hong Kong is peak season for exhibitions and activities.

During this time, hotel rates in the city are expected to increase by an average of 50 percent.
