Ten Caribbean nations have gained official tourist destination status, opening their doors to Chinese tour groups.
Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Bahamas, Guyana, Saint Lucia, Dominica, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, and Grenada are the countries included in the list.
Up to the end of 2004, Chinese citizens were able to travel to 61 countries.
