Weekly Weather Forecast (Jan. 24 to 30)

Northwest China: The outlook is for more snowy days for northern Xinjiang during the week, with most snowfall light to moderate and heavy snow expected in some areas. January 24 to 25, some eastern parts of the region will get light snow. January 28 to 30, eastern parts of the region will continue to have light to moderate snowfall with heavy snow possible in some areas, accompanied by force 4 northerly winds and a drop in temperature.

 

North China: January 24, some of southern parts of the region will be overcast with light snow. January 25 to 27, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy without much change in temperature. January 28 to 30, the central and southern areas will be colder and overcast with light to moderate snow, and heavy snow in some regions.

 

Northeast China: January 24 to 26, easternmost sections will experience light snowfall. January 27 to 29, most of the region will be dominated by sunny to cloudy days with rising temperatures. January 30, some of southern sections of northeast will be overcast with light snowfall.

 

Central China: The region will see more rain or snow during the week. January 24 to 26, most of the region will have light to moderate rain or snow, while some of eastern Hubei Province and northern Hunan Province will receive heavy rainfall or snow with possible snowstorms in some places. January 27, most of central China will be under cloudy skies with light snow or rainfall possible in some sections. January 28 to 30, most of the region will continue to have light to moderate rain or snow with heavy snowfall or snowstorms expected in parts of Hunan Province. The temperatures will also drop.

 

East China: Most of the region will see more snow or rain during the week. January 24 to 26, light to moderate rain or snow will continue to fall through most of the region, while parts of Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces will see heavy rainfall or snow with snowstorms possible in some sections. January 28 to 30, most of the east will continue to have light to moderate rain or snow with heavy precipitation expected in areas south of the Yangtze River and heavy snowstorms in some segments, as well as colder temperatures.

 

South China: January 25 to 26, most of the region will have light rain, with moderate rainfall in some areas. January 27 to 28, most of the south will be dominated by cloudy skies. January 29 to 30, most of the region will meet light to moderate rainfall.

 

Southwest China: Most of the week will be rainy or snowy in eastern sections of the region. January 24 to 26, most of Tibet and eastern areas of the southwest will receive light to moderate rainfall or snow with heavy snow possible in some portions. January 28 to 30, eastern Tibet and eastern sections of the southwest will see more light to moderate rain or snow with heavy rainfall or snowfall expected in some places.
