Frequent Fliers of Air China Surpass Two Million

The Frequent Flier Club, the first of its kind in the Chinese mainland, now has 2 million members, announced Air China in Beijing on Tuesday.

Since it launched the club 10 years ago, Air China has developed the club into the fastest-growing one with the most members and most advanced service in the mainland.

The VIP members of Air China's frequent flier club numbered 38,000 so far. The ratio of members who fly on the routes to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Vancouver reached 30 percent. And 50 percent of the club members are first-class and business class passengers.

Air China has so far cooperated with 19 partners in the frequent flier program, including sectors of airlines, banking, insurance, traveling, telecommunication and car-renting.

By the end of October, Air China has 147 aircraft flying on 396international and domestic routes.
