Inbound Tourists Spend More, Stay Shorter in China

Tourists visiting China have spent an average of nearly US$160 a day, a 12 percent increase from 2002.

The figure was obtained from a nationwide survey conducted by the China National Tourism Administration.

But the survey also shows that tourists are on average staying for a shorter period of time compared with two years ago.
