Beach Carnival to Open on Saturday

A Press Conference of the 1st Dalian International Beach Carnival held today in Dalian, a renowned scenic port city in northeast China.

The Carnival will kick of on 10am, Saturday at Dalian Golden Pebble Beach located at the southernmost tip of the Liaodong Peninsula.

Twelve body events will highlight the month-long Carnival from July 17 to Aug 17.

By a detailed explanation from the officials presented, a France & Italy Sand Beach Custom Week will be carried out during the Carnival, the activity got great assistance from France and Italy Embassy to China and will mainly dedicate in French and Italian tourism and their companies in China.

Moreover, Off-road Tournament, International Sand Sculpture Contest, Power Glider Performance, Civilians Beach Athletics Game, Triathlon Open, Angling Competition and Beach Fooball & Volleyball Tournament will also meet with all the participants in the month-long Carnival.

Dalian, known as the "Pearl of Northeast China" will see a paradise of various amenities and a upsurge of tourists from the rest of the world.
