Spacecraft to Be on Display in Shenzhen

The Shenzhou V spacecraft capsule in which Yang Liwei completed China's first manned space mission will be on show in Shenzhen from April 23.

The exhibition, to last one month, will also feature other space articles including Japan's largest rocket, the H-2.

Models of various spacecraft and man-made satellites will also be displayed.

However, Yang Liwei would not attend the exhibition, said organizers.

Yang had another schedule, they said.

Citizens showed great interest in the Shenzhou V capsule, which will be on display in front of the Shenzhen Gymnasium.

"I will visit the exhibition no matter how busy I am," said one resident.
