A traditional Chinese medical center integrating treatment, research and teaching will be built in north China's Tianjin City.
The center will be constructed by expanding the original first hospital attached to Tianjin college of traditional Chinese medicine, and will be co-funded by the hospital and Tianjin Enhui risk investment Co. Ltd. with 500 million yuan (US$60.4 million).
The new center would be the biggest hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Asia.
The center would import advanced medical equipment when completed and would contain over 2,700 beds, the source said.
