The 19th International Computer Expo opened in Hong Kong Thursday.
A total 165 companies will exhibit a wide range of computer products during the four-day expo.
"Technologies nowadays are so widely applied in our daily living and so affordable that we are always looking for new products and solutions," said Michael Duck, senior vice president of the organizer CMP Asia at the opening ceremony.
The expo is jointly sponsored by CMP Asia and Hong Kong Productivity Council.
The exhibits include computer workgroups computing, personal computing, laptop & notebook computers, computer telephony, data communication, networking, interconnect products, software applications, digital products & technology, e-mail products, multi-media and imaging products and some other sorts of computer products.
The organizers also arranged a forum on wireless technology Thursday during which video streaming and conferencing, document and imaging management solutions, network security and capital management solutions were discussed.
