Beijing in Dire Need of 80,000 to 100,000 Hi-tech Talents
Beijing is in urgent need of 80,000 to 100,000 talents for hi-tech enterprises, and among more than 200 special fields of study, needs for talents of ten majors including software account for 48 percent, revealed the Beijing Personnel Bureau.

This is the first time that Beijing publishes the situation of talent needs for hi-tech industries. According to Huang Qiang, deputy director of the bureau, needs for bachelors and masters take 54.5 and 28.8 percent respectively. Among posts offered 57 percent are for research and development, and those for management and sales stand for 15 and 18 percent respectively, involving more than 200 specialties.

The top ten specialties in most need of talents are computer software, marketing, computer and application, industrial automation, communication engineering, electronic engineering, market management, automatic control, automation of electronic systems and mechanical and electronic integration.
