Chinese University Trains Engineers with US Company
The prestigious Zhejiang University has launched a plan to train semiconductor engineers in cooperation with the US-based company ON Semiconductor.

Zhejiang University will use original English version text books provided by ON Semiconductor for the students enrolled in the undergraduate and graduate program in electronic engineering and information sciences.

With the company's funding, the university will also send a young teacher to attend a six-month training project at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States.

ON Semiconductor is a leading global supplier of advanced semiconductors for power and data management applications.

Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, the company employs 6,200 people worldwide.
