The ninth National Agricultural High-tech Achievements Exhibition, an annual agricultural promotion in China, opened yesterday in Yangling, the only agricultural high-tech demonstration zone in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
Under the theme "Promoting Agricultural Industrialization by Science and Technology," the five-day exhibition is displaying agricultural high-tech products, said Wang Gaimin, secretary-general of the exhibition's organizing committee.
"The exhibition creates chances for the development of agricultural industrialization, the introduction of overseas investment and capital to agricultural industries, and the cooperation and exchange between agricultural high-tech industries and foreign countries," Wang said.
This year's exhibition has attracted 105 foreign agricultural players, 10 percent of all participants at the exhibition, according to the secretary-general.
