A counter-terrorist technology and equipment exhibition opened at the Beijing Exhibition Hall on Tuesday.
Zhou Tienong, vice chairman of the National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the opening ceremony.
It is the first time for China to host this kind of exhibition.
Equipment and technology, both from home and overseas, concerning criminal investigation, detonation prevention, fire fighting and counter-terrorism are on display during the three-day exhibition.
More than 200 counter-terrorist equipment and technology companies from China, Canada, the United States, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Israel, Germany and France account for 560 booths at the exhibition.
A lot of advanced foreign weaponry and equipment are on display at the exhibition, a Chinese weaponry expert said, and his country should learn from international weaponry manufacturing technology in an effort to adapt to worldwide anti-terrorist actions.
