A system to intercept illegal text messages being sent to mobile phone users has been launched in southern China's Jiangxi province.
This illegal scheme involves sending a message telling someone their cell-phone numbers has won a prize in a lottery, but hey need to send money for the postage of the prize.
To curb this kind of crime, Jiangxi Mobile Communications Corporations Ltd. created a system, which can stop a message from being sent to more than 300 users within an hour from the same mobile phone. Once it's identified to be an illegal message, this phone number will be blacklisted.
