China's diagnosis and therapy for lung cancer patients is leading the world thanks to the early diagnosis of patients.
Chen Xiaoping, professor from the Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology, made the claim at an international conference.
He says that China's death rate for patients who received a lung removal is one percent, while the world average's is five percent.
China's five-year survival rate of these patients is forty percent, which also far beyond the world average.
