Beijing Communications Corporation will upgrade high speed Internet access for its existing users of Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line, or ADSL.
The first group of ADSL users are expected to enjoy 1MB to 2MB access within this month. China Radio International reported Thursday.
The company now only provides users with 512K services, but once the plan is realized, the speed of Internet can be speeded up two to four times its current rate.
