More than fifty Beijing Olympic memorial badges have debuted on December 19, adding to the abundance of Olympic-licensed merchandise already on offer.

These limited edition souvenirs are affordable for most people, over twenty of them are priced at a mere 100 yuan ($US13.6).

The picture embossed on the craftworks covers a wide range of themes, ranging from sports, technology, to culture and cities.

The most eye-catching and valuable one is a uniquely designed gold Olympic memorial badge which has been pressed into a round piece of exquisitely carved jade. It is the high-end item in this batch of Olympic-themed products.
