Chinese Astronaut Yang Liwei Fully Recovers

China's first astronaut Yang Liwei has fully recovered from his maiden space mission a week ago. Doctors said the normal recovery period should be about a week, however, medical check-ups indicate Yang Liwei only took three days to recover.

Experts said good physical conditions, solid training and excellent medical support are key to Yang Liwei's quick recovery.

38-year-old former fighter pilot Yang Liwei became an overnight hero after spending 21 hours on China's first manned spacecraft, Shenzhou Five, travelling over 600 thousand kilometers.
