China Revolutionary Museum locates in the north of the History Museum. Its exhibition contents ranges from the Opium War in 1840 to the founding of People's Republic of China in 1949. The "Modern Time China" is its basic exhibition, which can be divided to seven parts.
Namely, the foreign powers invaded China, and China was reduced to the status of Semi-colony and Semi-feudal Society; Saving the nation for survival, the beginning of China's modern history; the Revolution of 1911, Republic of China was founded; Domination of the Northern Warlords, the Kuomintang and the Communist Party cooperated in the National Revolution; the domination of Kuomintang Government, and the Land Revolution; the whole people's war of resistance against the aggression of Japan, the Japanese Imperialism was defeated; the Liberation War, and the victory of Democracy Revolution.
It displays lots of precious cultural relics photos, material objects and models, etc. For instance, the partial reproduce of the Temporary President Office of Sun Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Office of the former President Mansion; the reproduction of the doorway, parvis and meeting place of the First Round National Representative Conference of China Communist Party.
The cultural relics includes the poster of "Beijing Special Government Office" and "Public Security Reinforcement Movement", the Common People Certificate issued by the Pseudo Public Security Maintenance General Chamber, and parts of the tools that "731 Bacterium Army" used in experiment duration the period that the Japan set up bacterium preparation factory in Northeast China and forced the Chinese as the experimental materials. It forcefully exposed the barbarous invasion of Japanese Imperialism to China.
In addition, the Revolutionary Museum also frequently holds temporary exhibitions in order to coordinate with the demands major celebration activities, special seminars and domestic and foreign culture exchange.
