Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met with Argentine Foreign Minister Rafael Bielsa in Beijing Monday, exchanging views on the bilateral, regional and international issues of common concern with his Argentine counterpart.
Li spoke positively of the bilateral friendly cooperation in various fields and said that China is willing to concretize Sino-Argentine cooperation and promote the bilateral ties to a higher level.
Bielsa, who is a member of the delegation of Argentine President Nestor Kirchner visiting China, agreed with Li's view on the bilateral relations and said that the two sides should maintain and improve the exchange and communication in various fields, serving to foster the friendly ties between Argentina and China.
The Argentine Foreign Minister also reiterated that the Argentine government would firmly adhere to the one-China policy.
