Senior CPC Official Meets Angolan Guests

The Communist Party of China (CPC) is ready to go on enhancing friendly contacts with the People's Liberation Movement of Angola (PLMA), a senior CPC official said in Beijing Monday.

Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark when meeting with Antonia Pitra Neto, vice president of PLMA and minister of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security of Angola.

Liu, also head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, spoke highly of the long-term friendly cooperative relationship between the CPC and PLMA, and thanked PLMA for its support to the CPC in various fields.

"I hope the CPC and PLMA could further expand cooperation to boost the bilateral ties between the two parties and two nations to a higher level," he said.

Neto, who arrived in Beijing Sunday with six other members of his delegation, is in Beijing at the invitation of the CPC.
