The Afghan authorities have arrested two suspects, who took part in the killings of 11 Chinese construction workers on Thursday in northern Afghanistan, a senior Afghan military official said on Friday.  

Talking to Chinese Ambassador Sun Yuxi, the official also promised that other suspects involved in the terrorist incident will also be arrested soon, according to the Chinese Embassy.

The embassy did not give any words on the identities of the two suspects.
