Albanian President Alfred Moisiu reaffirmed in Tirana on Tuesday that his country firmly observes the one-China policy.
Whatever happens, Albania will not change this position, Moisiu said while receiving a Chinese delegation, led by Yang Guoliang, deputy chief commissioner of the Foreign Commission of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress.
During the meeting, Moisiu also highlighted the traditional friendship between both countries, adding it is necessary to boost bilateral economic relations.
There exists a good climate for the further improvement of bilateral relations, particularly in the economic area, as Chinese enterprises have been encouraged to invest in Albania, Yang said.
The Chinese delegation arrived in Tirana on Monday for a four-day visit at the invitation of the Albanian parliament.
