China is willing to enhance consultation and coordination with Angola in international affairs, and promote even greater development of the bilateral friendly cooperative relations, said Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing in Beijing Wednesday.
During talks with Angolan Foreign Minister Joao Bernardo de Miranda, Li said China-Angola relations have enjoyed sound development since the establishment of diplomatic ties.
The mutual understanding and political trust between the two sides continuously deepens and the two countries enjoy enhanced cooperation in various fields and closer cooperation in international affairs, Li said.
Li expressed appreciation for the Angolan government's support to China on the Taiwan issue and human rights issue.
China is ready to enhance high-level exchanges with Angola, and further promote mutually beneficial cooperation, he said.
De Miranda spoke highly of the two countries' relations, expressing the hope that his current visit would promote the economic and trade cooperation between the two governments and the two countries' enterprises.
The foreign minister is on an official visit to China at Li's invitation.
