US Vice President Dick Cheney arrived in Shanghai, the biggest business hub of China, Wednesday afternoon, continuing his three-day working visit to China.
During his stay in Shanghai, Cheney will deliver a speech at Fudan University and attend a luncheon for US entrepreneurs in Shanghai.
This is Cheney's first visit to China as US vice president.
He arrived in Beijing Tuesday afternoon as a guest of Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong.
Zeng and Cheney had talks Tuesday evening.
Chinese President Hu Jintao, Chairman of the Central Military Commission Jiang Zemin and Premier Wen Jiabao met with Cheney respectively Wednesday morning.
