Sudan Condemns Abduction of Two Chinese Workers

Sudanese Foreign Minister Mostafa Othman Ismail condemned Thursday the abduction of two Chinese workers at Darfur on Saturday, saying the accident blocked development and service projects there.

"Such acts will impede humanitarian relief operations in Sudan," he was quoted as saying by the Sudanese News Agency.

He praised the Chinese government and companies working in Sudan for supporting development and service projects.

Anti-government gunmen kidnapped two Chinese workers at a well-digging project at Darfur, and seized their cars and communications sets.
