The two students who were murdered at a university in the Norwegian capital of Oslo were identified as Chinese, the police announced Saturday.
The bodies were discovered Friday morning in an apartment of the university. After a preliminary probe, the police confirmed that the victims were two Chinese students of a musical instrument college in Oslo. One is male and the other female.
Technical evidence on the scene indicated that the students aged about 20 were murdered a few days ago, but no valuable clues were found so far.
The police have not disclosed the names of the victims for further identification.
The Chinese Embassy in Norway said that both students were from the southeastern province of Fujian. They arrived in Norway last September.
