Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan stated China's principled stands on history, the Taiwan issue and the Sino-Japanese relations in Beijing Wednesday.  

During his meeting with a delegation from the Japanese Komei Party led by its Representative Kanzaki Takenori, Tang said China and Japan should act with a broad vision, overcome obstacles, and "take history as a mirror and look into the future."

He called for the joint promotion of bilateral ties.
