Air Service Links Guangzhou, Munich

Germany's air carrier Lufthansa has launched a five-flights a week service between Germany's Munich and Guangzhou in south China.

Guangzhou becomes Lufthansa's fourth destination in China, after Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

The flight service will shuttle between Guangzhou and Munich each week, with a stopover in Shanghai.

From April 1, Lufthansa will expand its schedules to ensure one flight each day between Guangzhou and Munich.

Flights will take about ten hours.
