The Annual World Economic Forum has ended in Davos, Switzerland.
More than 2,200 political and business leaders, economists and scientists from over 90 nations attended the forum.
International business leaders were cautiously confident leaving Davos after what some termed the most upbeat annual meeting of the forum since the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001.
Delegates called for coordinated efforts and partnership between countries and social groups to achieve security and prosperity.
But protestors gathered outside the meeting to criticize what they called "insufficient attention" to the negative consequences of the globalization.
